Francis O'Doherty. Bourke Solicitors

I have practiced as a Solicitor for over twenty years and am a partner in Bourke Solicitors.

A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, I qualified as a Solicitor in 1997, joining Bourke Solicitors that year and have practiced in the field of property law since that time. I became a partner in the firm in 2001. I advise on a wide variety of property matters including commercial and residential property, planning and development, leases and commercial lending.

I see the essential value of my role as a personal advisor. I believe that my task is twofold – to deal with the technical legal work for my clients and to act as my client’s personal advisor and guide them through the challenges facing them.

A Northsider by birth and residence. I really enjoy cinema and theatre, and am a friend of the Irish Film Institute. I also enjoy walking, hiking and swimming. I travel as much as I can particularly to the Maltese Islands and Mediterranean area, where I enjoy the outdoor life.

Gareth Bourke. Bourke Solicitors

I am a Partner in and have been working with Bourke Solicitors for in excess of 10 years, having qualified in 2012. I work in the areas of accidents, personal injuries and medical negligence.

What I am especially good at is winning cases and achieving high levels of compensation for my clients.

I have a young family and enjoy spending time with my children. I have a keen interest in sports and music and spending time with family and friends.

I am a home owner and I spend a lot of my time representing my friends and acquaintances in buying their homes. They need speed, attention to detail and a person who they can trust and I believe I provide this service. Increasingly I am also advising business clients on commercial transactions.

Elaine Lawlor. Bourke Solicitors

My name is Elaine and have been a member of Bourke Solicitors since 2004. I started in Bourke Solicitors as a Legal Secretary, evolved into a Legal Executive and then I qualified as a Solicitor in 2019.

Probate and Tax is the area where I practice. Due to the wealth of experience I have gained, I am more than happy to help my clients in dealing with bereavement by providing a friendly, efficient and caring service to include the giving of advice with a simple, clear-cut and understandable approach. Communication is key to how I operate providing a friendly, energetic and positive approach.

You only need to come to our reception and read the scores of Client Satisfaction Surveys provided by our clients as evidence of the quality of the service we provide.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors and am a keen runner. I have been a member of Bros Pearse Athletics Club for a number of years and have ran several marathons and participated in triathlons.

Music is another passion of mine and I sang in a number of bands/groups over the years. I enjoy the occasional trip to London’s Westend where the time is spent racing from one theatre to another!

Carol Palmer. Bourke Solicitors

Hi, my name is Carol and I look after residential conveyancing matters at the office. I am a Legal Executive. I have a Law Degree from Trinity and have over 10 years’ experience in residential conveyancing. Like many other people out there I am a working mother with a young family.

I have moved home twice myself and understand the stress involved in the legal process. My role in acting for my clients involves protecting their interests, being honest with them and providing them with the most up to date information available whilst developing a relationship of mutual trust.

When I’m free I like to switch off by reading and enjoy baking with my daughter. I also try to keep fit by running and swimming.
